Our family is seeking a responsible, nurturing, and supportive nanny to support our family with looking after for our 7-year-old child, 1 year old baby girl and managing some basic household tasks.
Our 7-year-old has a mild physical disability and epilepsy and requires supervision for self care tasks, play and homework. She is a very happy, delightful child who is highly engaged and loves to perform and make uo stories.
Looking after the 1-year-old will involve feeding, changing nappies, bathing, playing.
This role is an after school care shift. Tasks will include:
• Babysitting the baby while I pick up the 7yo to school and taking her to her appointments
• Making dinner
• Unpacking the 7-year-old’s lunchbox and school bag
• Assisting with toileting, showering, dressing and tooth brushing
• Doing homework and readers with the 7yo
• Light housework eg: loading and unloading dishwasher, vacuum, kids laundry, tidy up kitcheb and kids toys
Shift times:
Weds: 4pm - 7.30pm
Thursday: 2.45 - 7.30pm
Other morning shifts and casual shifts may also come up as we require them.
We have a very friendly indoor cat as well.
Requirements:
• Working with Children Check
• Police Check
• First aid certificate
• Experience with babies and school-aged children essential
• ABN for NDIS invoicing
