Hi, I’m looking for a warm, bubbly, and patient carer with experience in disability. We have a gorgeous neurodivergent boy (autistic/ADHD/Intellectual Disability) who is 7 and developmentally around 2 years old. He is nonspeaking, very active, and has a lovely happy temperament. He loves any movement-based activities to keep him entertained and regulated. So you need to be fit! He is also very quick so needs to be shadowed constantly. The right person will be someone who doesn’t mind being on their feet all the time - as my boy runs around constantly and requires long walks in the pram each day.
We are looking for someone who is available Mondays & Wednesdays after school (3-7pm) and who might be able to pick up either Saturday or Sunday from October. The role involves picking my son up from school, feeding, supervising and playing with him at home, taking him out to the park, nappy changes, and bath time. He has no sense of danger so does require us to be constantly supervising to keep him safe. This role will require having a reliable car.
Please feel free to ask any questions at all!
