### **Looking for an Experienced Sitter in Templestowe (2 Days a Week)**
Hello,
Looking for an experienced, energetic, and warm sitter to look after our lovely family. We have two children—a 5-year-old girl and a 2.5-year-old boy. Both are well-behaved and full of life.
**Please note the setup for each day:**
* **Monday:** Both children will be at home. You will need to confidently manage and engage both of them simultaneously, balancing their different age groups and developmental needs.
* **Wednesday:** Only our 2.5-year-old son will be at home.
Our primary focus is boosting and strengthening their English language skills. **We are specifically looking for someone who is naturally very chatty and expressive—someone who will constantly talk to the kids, describe daily events and surroundings in detail, and dedicate quality time to descriptive storytelling and conversational interaction through play.**
**The role & responsibilities would include:**
* Engaging the children with age-appropriate activities (both together on Mondays, and 1-on-1 with our son on Wednesdays)
* Active play, reading stories, and singing/music activities
* Outdoor/nature exploration in the backyard
* Light snack preparation for the kids
Note: I will be working from home and will therefore be around if needed.
📌 **Start Date:** ASAP, ongoing (Permanent basis)
📍 **Location:** Templestowe
📅 **Days:** 2 days a week (**Monday and Wednesday**)
⏰ **Hours:** Mondays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Wednesdays: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
💰 **Rate:** $30 p/hr
**Requirements:**
✅ Confident and proven experience managing multiple children / different age groups
✅ Working with Children Check (WWCC) & Police check
✅ Non-smoker
✅ Checkable reference(s)
