My husband and I are both working professionals. We have 2 boys turning 4 and 6 this year, both can easily communicate their needs, and are independent for their age. They are well with no allergies or medical issues, and have good reports from school. We need someone who is reliable and can commit at least 20 hours per week. Monday is a requirement (public holidays off) and we can be quite flexible with the other days to suit you. The job requires driving the kids to school and extracurricular activities. Locations are usually within 5km drive from our house, and a car can be provided when driving the kids. We are looking for someone who is willing to do light housework (laundry, general tidy up) during down time. We have a regular cleaner and caterer so those roles are covered. We do not allow smoking and ask you to put phones / screens away while driving and looking after the kids. You are welcome to use them once they are at school or if supervising them at extracurriculars. We have had 2 nannies in the past, who became like part of our extended family. We continue to keep in touch and have a friendly relationship as we always endeavoured to treat them with kindness and respect. Our first worked with us for over 2 years before she started her own family. Our second has worked with us over 3 years and is planning to move to Sydney this year.
