Meet Rachel: A babysitter in Ascot Vale, VIC

Hi, my name is Rachel! I would love to be your casual babysitter. I am currently a student studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Monash University. My passion is to work as a paediatric nurse in the Oncology field (helping children with cancer). I have experience working at three different hospitals (Cabrini Malvern, Epworth Brighton and Box Hill Hospital) caring for patients in rehabilitation (post surgery/injury), acute settings (patients with brief and severe illnesses/injuries) as well as mental health in-patient care (paediatrics). I have previous experience as a babysitter and l loved every second of it. I strive to make the kids feel happy, loved and cared for. I am kind, creative and patient with kids. I am responsible, trustworthy and take parent's words very seriously. I want to do my best in everything I do. I can cook meals, clean (I really enjoy it), help in keeping a routine, I have a car, love playing fun games and doing activities that help in the children's development. I also have many skills listed below in (other skills) that I have trained and learnt while studying at University. I have put these skills to practice while working in hospitals. I also have a lot of experience, changing nappies, bottle feeding and spoon feeding babies. Bonus skill is I sing and love music! I strive for parents to feel relaxed and enjoy their time being away from their kids, knowing I can look after their kids to my best abilities. Thank you :)
