Meet Erin: A nanny in Coomera, QLD

Dear Family,

My name is Erin.

I have had over 30 years experience with children. I did have a 13 year break and become a Real Estate Agent. I am 44 turning 45 and I come to a time in my life I enjoy my grass routes and where I begun and that is Childcare. I am a non smoker and non paper.

In my Twenties I have worked with Children with disabilities that was my first position that was offered to me in upon my reflection on partipating with a special needs teenager and involving him in a game etc. This is how my career started. Besides babysitting as a teenager.

I lived in Cairns 18-24 years old and worked in Childcare Centres as an assistant. I then moved to Perisha Ski Resort worked in Creche and Jindabyne Childcare Centre. I moved to Sydney.

I lived in Manly and was a Nanny for 4 years with the same family. Two little girls 6 months and 2 years at the age of the start of the Employment. I then moved onto a Cattle Station in the Northern Territory was there for six months.

I then I took a holiday.

Then I moved to London and was a Nanny for buyer of Top Shop for six months Two boys 4 and 3. The CEO of Prada offered me a role and I declined a I loved my family and could not part. I cried on the way home to Australia. I would of still been there now if the world would let me!

I returned to the Gold Coast then moved to Brisbane as I started a relationship with a man from highschool this now ended. I worked for a beautiful family fultime cooked,cleaned took the children to the park. 4 year old boy, 3 year old girl and two 6 month twin boys.

I finished up there due to relocation and I got a position with a famous family and I worked with four girls 10,4,3 and a new born. One of the girls had Down Sydrome.

I was there for four years.

I then was working two Nanny positions 6-9am three boys getting ready for school and taking the eldest.

I then worked for another business famous family two teenagers. Which was fun and we had a lot of good times. They hit a financially downturn and sold the house and let the staff go. My hours were 10am -6pm.

I also was a Babysitter for the same family a Physician and a Nurse since the children were born up until 5 and I moved to the Gold Coast.

I also have looked after four children 12,8,6,4. Off and on. They are friends of mine in Brisbane and she is a Pharmacist and he is a Financial CEO in Brisbane.

I am a patient, reliable, and responsible individual. I am also a creative and energetic person who loves to come up with new activities for children. I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary to be an excellent nanny for your family.

I come with excellent references from previous career and my family I Babysit for.

I have a current Blue Card that just has been approved. My police Check is with the fastest company 24 hours. I believe it will be clear as i just got approval for my Blue Card and you have to be clear ro get a Blue Card. I have a Current CPR/EAU FIRST AID and currently studying my Diploma in Childcare Education the highest Diploma in Childcare with Sage University.

I have my current driver's licence card.

My skills in childcare provision, along with my positive attitude and friendly nature, position me to excel in this role. I am eager to start with your family and bring fun positivity, solutions and I'm an excellent cook and cleaner and I'm a big dog person. I love animals. I have wild animals come to me. Magpies in a flock of 30 sing to me come in my house and are cheeky pies!!
