Meet Emilia: A nanny and babysitter in Randwick, NSW

Hi, I’m Emilia. I am a warm, friendly and enthusiastic person with babysitting experience both in the UK and in Sydney. I have gained valuable experience providing childcare alongside my university studies and during weekends, which has helped me develop strong organisational and communication skills.

I currently work part-time as a dental assistant, where I have flexibility with my schedule. This allows me to offer availability that can fit around your family’s needs.

I am based in Randwick and am happy to travel to support families where needed. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and creating a positive and engaging environment for them. I particularly enjoy activities such as cooking, baking, outdoor activities and board games, and I love encouraging children to learn and have fun through these experiences. I am comfortable caring for children of all ages, from toddlers through to teenagers.

I am also very comfortable around pets, particularly dogs, and am happy to assist with pet care such as walking and feeding where required. My caring and approachable nature helps me build strong, trusting relationships with both children and families, and I always aim to provide a safe, supportive and fun environment.

In addition to childcare, I am also happy to assist with light household duties, including cleaning, general tidying and meal preparation, to help make busy family life run more smoothly.

I hold a valid Working With Children Check, police check, parent references and an Australian driver’s licence. Through my dental role I am trained in CPR and resuscitation, and I am also happy to obtain any additional qualifications such as First Aid if required. I studied psychology at university due to my strong interest in child development and hope to work in paediatrics in the future.
