Meet Sydney: A nanny and babysitter in Flinders, VIC

My name is Sydney, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Through my volunteer teaching experience in rural communities, I discovered my passion for working with children and supporting their learning, growth, and development.

I have completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at ACVET and am currently studying for my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I also have hands-on experience working as a nanny, providing individualised care, supporting children's daily routines, and encouraging their learning, development, and overall well-being.

My background in psychology, education, and practical childcare experience has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to create safe, nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environments. I am passionate about recognising each child's unique strengths and needs, building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and providing meaningful learning experiences that support every child's potential. I am committed to continuous professional development and growing as a dedicated early childhood educator.
