Meet Stephanie: A nanny in Spring Hill, QLD

Hi! I'm a Psychology and English student in my final year at UQ and I'm looking for a long-term babysitting/au pair position (at least until the end of the year). Currently, I work at a high school boarding house, but as it is casual, I am seeking a more regular role.

Over the past five years, I've worked across a variety of industries while maintaining a particular focus on children and young adults to supplement my university-level interest in child psychology. Through my various roles, I've developed a broad range of skills geared towards fostering positive relationships with young people. More specifically, I pride myself on maintaining open communication, firm boundaries, and innovative problem-solving, no matter how complex a situation. These attributes help facilitate an environment where both children and carers can feel confident that everyone is on the same page, and therefore safe and cared for.
