Meet Merrin: A nanny and babysitter in Beaumaris, VIC

I’m at a new stage in my career, currently winding down my business, and am now seeking meaningful casual or part-time work where I can contribute in a more personal and rewarding way.

I also work with Mable under the NDIS, which has involved completing comprehensive onboarding requirements, including holding an ABN, Police Check, Working With Children Check, as well as a Certificate III in Aged Care and HACC qualifications.

I’ve raised two children who are now adults, and I’ve had the joy of caring for my nieces (now 9) since they were toddlers. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and bring a calm, reliable, and nurturing presence.

I’m also an animal lover and have fostered 11 rescue dogs of varying ages and needs, including those with anxiety and behavioural challenges. Supporting them to build confidence and transition into loving forever homes has been incredibly rewarding.

Creativity is another passion of mine—I enjoy art and love encouraging children to explore artistic play in a relaxed and fun way.
