Meet Karen: A nanny and babysitter in North Warrandyte, VIC

Hello my name is Karen and I am a mother with 4 children aged 24, 22, 19 and 15. I have always been very maternal and adore babies and children and consider myself to be a very compassionate and caring person.

Knowing the pressures of juggling life it gives me great satisfaction in helping families with commitments or those who just simply need some time out. I have a bubbly and energetic personality and so children connect with me very quickly.

I currently nanny a beautiful 11 month old on Thursdays and Fridays and would like to pick up another day or two or casual babysitting jobs. Prior to this I have nannied and cared for children for families for many years which they would all happily provide references that I’m sure you would be happy with.

As well as having experience with children of all ages I worked part time in administration in a private girl’s college for 9 years and also worked at a Melbourne hospital on the maternity ward so I have an abundance of experience from newborns to older children.

I am a reliable and dependable person and I am always willing to rearrange my schedule whenever possible to help you out even if last minute.

Being a caring and devoted mother myself I understand the anxieties parents can have leaving their baby/child so I am more than happy for you to feel contact me to have a chat or a coffee to discuss your needs.

I hold a Victorian driver's licence, CPR and first aid certificate, triple COVID vaccination certificate as well as a working with children's check. I am happy to provide references for your peace of mind at your request.
