Meet Amy: A nanny and babysitter in Kings Langley, NSW

Hi families!

My name is Amy, I’m 20 years old and currently in my third year of a double degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education at Macquarie University. I am passionate about working with children and love supporting their learning and development through play, creativity, and meaningful connections.

I have over three years of experience working with children in a variety of roles. I’ve worked as a mother’s helper caring for twin 3-year-olds and a 1-year-old, as well as an event babysitter and a regular ongoing after-school nanny. In my nannying role, I worked between both mum and dad’s homes, which helped me develop strong communication skills, adaptability, and consistency in care.

I am confident caring for multiple children at a time, with experience caring for up to four children at once. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and nurturing, and I strive to create a safe, engaging, and positive environment where children feel supported and valued.

In my spare time, I love reading, baking, and getting creative with crafts and colouring — activities I also enjoy incorporating into my time with children to encourage imagination and hands-on learning.
