Meet Jacqueline: A nanny and babysitter in Burnside Heights, VIC

My Name is Jacqueline,

I am currently in my second semester at Victoria University completing a diploma of education, working towards my goal of becoming a primary school teacher. Through my studies, I am developing the skills and knowledge needed to support students across all year levels, helping them achieve their individual learning goals. I have a strong passion for working with children and am committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment where students feel supported and motivated. I believe effective teaching combines structure with creativity, encouraging students to learn in ways that are both engaging and meaningful.

During my final two years of high school, I specialized in early childhood education, gaining two years of hands-on experience with children aged 0-4. This included a weekly placement at Goodstart childcare, where I primarily worked in the infant room but also gained valuable experience across all age groups within that range.

I work part time at a restaurant (Grill’d) and have since 2023, I am a happy going, social person and love meeting new people.
