Meet Sammi: A nanny and babysitter in Osborne Park, WA

Hi! My name is Sammi 👋

I am a passionate and super creative early years educator, about to complete my CERT III in Early Education and Care. At 30 years old and with several nieces and nephews of my own, I pivoted from a long career in hospitality to follow my deep passion for nurturing young minds and helping children grow into confident and capable individuals.

I volunteer two days a week for the Kings Park Education “Bush Kindy” and “Bush Bubs” programs, which I really enjoy. It is important for me to be outdoors, and it brings me great joy to encourage children to play and explore their natural world aswell.

My friends and family have fondly called me “the kid whisperer” in the past - I seem to have a knack for getting on a child’s level. I value each child’s voice and encourage their creativity with enthusiasm. I believe in attentively listening to and respecting children. I place a strong value on safety, supervision and a healthy balance between rest and play. I do not believe young children need much (if any) screen time, you can be assured I will always be present and engaging with your little ones.

I am confident with caring for children as young as 10 months up to 6 years - however, I am currently only available during daytime hours (between 8am-2pm) during the week. These hours are flexible, if you only need help for some of those hours, that is perfectly fine! You can choose when suits you between those hours. Unfortunately, I am not available on weekends at this time.
