Meet Sahasra: A nanny and babysitter in Essendon, VIC

Hi, I'm Sahasra, a 19-year-old second-year Business student at RMIT with a passion for working with children.

I've always been drawn to working with kids and find it genuinely rewarding to be part of their lives, even in small ways. I've cared for children of family and friends, and during my final weeks of Year 12, I volunteered with Kinder to Year 1 students at my high school, where I played with them, helped them learn, joined in on activities, and assisted them whenever needed. That experience taught me a lot about understanding each child as an individual and adapting to how they're feeling in different situations.

Even at family and friends' gatherings, I'm usually the one keeping an eye on the kids, since it's genuinely what I enjoy. Whether they're calm or full of energy, I'm comfortable managing either.
