Meet Aliyah: A nanny and babysitter in Petersham, NSW

Hi parents!

My name is Aliyah, I am 19 years old. I am a first-year university student doing a bachelor of nursing at UTS. I have had previous babysitting experience babysitting children from 1.5 - 10 years old and working for 3 different families while in high school. I have also worked as a volunteer assistant at a school working in the preschool and first grade for 2 years. During my time at the school, I learned that it is most important to immerse children in creativity and also involve them in tasks such as cooking and baking which I have found promotes development. I also grew up in a house full of kids as I have three nieces and one nephew that are between the ages of 1 - 5 that I frequently babysat and watch grow. I can do laundry, house chores and cook meals. I am currently available 2 - 3 days a week and can work on weekends, however my schedule is subject to change on certain days.
