Meet Carly: A nanny and babysitter in Doreen, VIC

Hi, my name is Carly!

I have worked in a childcare setting full time for the past four years in a variety of roles, including Room Leader, Responsible Person and Assistant Educator. I am now looking for casual work with children as I begin my journey back to university.

I have experience working with children aged 4 months to 5 years, with particularly strong experience supporting children aged 6 months to 3 years through my childcare background. This has given me extensive knowledge of the key developmental areas for these ages, as well as the activities and learning experiences that best support continuous growth and development.

My philosophy is that building strong, trusting connections with children is the most important part of working in this field. I believe in fostering a sense of independence while always ensuring children feel safe, supported, and engaged.

I also hold my First Aid certification, complete yearly CPR refreshers, have my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and hold my Mandatory Reporting certificate. Alongside this, I have worked with children with a wide range of additional needs and feel confident in my ability to provide loving, nurturing care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
