Meet Kym: A nanny in Rosanna, VIC

Hi families! 😊

I’m an experienced, non smoking, energetic and nurturing nanny with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for children from newborns through to school age.

I have recently stepped away from corporate life and looking at part time ongoing nannying to balance my family life.

As a mum to a beautiful 6-year-old, I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your child. I bring a calm, capable and loving presence into every home, while also keeping things fun, engaging and structured.

I’ve worked with many families across Australia and overseas, including caring for multiples (even two sets of twins!), so I’m very confident managing busy households and different routines. I especially love working with babies and toddlers—supporting their development, creating healthy routines, preparing nutritious meals, and making each day full of play, learning and connection.

I also love creating fun, age-appropriate sensory activities that support children’s development, curiosity and creativity—whether it’s messy play, fine motor activities or calm, focused play.

I would describe myself as bubbly, hands-on, organised and proactive. I naturally take initiative, stay one step ahead, and aim to make life easier for parents wherever I can.

I’m also very confident handling challenging situations, with experience managing emergencies including anaphylaxis, infant choking and other high-pressure moments—always staying calm and acting quickly.

Most importantly, I genuinely love what I do. I take pride in helping little humans feel safe, happy and supported as they grow.

I enjoy house management as well if you require that aspect also. Happy to help fold laundry, prep family dinners etc where needed. Pretty easy going and capable to jump into different roles.
