Meet Lia Arazo: A nanny and babysitter in Caversham, WA

I have 2 high school-aged children that I raised full time until my youngest was 11YO, before I returned working full time.

I have been a volunteer at our local church children's ministry for over 5 years, helping teachers in kids' programs.

I am deeply passionate about working with children and feel genuinely honoured to be part of their learning journey — discovering the spark in each child, nurturing their unique gifts, and supporting them as they grow into confident, capable contributors within their community.

In that regard, I am in the middle of completing Certificate IV in School-Based Education Support, specialising in supporting students with special and additional needs, and I am scheduled to complete the course in December 2026.

I see Working as Nanny / Babysitter as one of many informal venues for a child's learning experience.

I am dedicated to making a truly fruitful and meaningful time with children — filled with connection, learning, and moments that help them feel seen, supported, and encouraged as they grow.
