Meet Lily: A nanny and babysitter in Burwood, VIC

Iam a friendly, responsible and reliable university student with over 3 years of babysitting experience. I have been babysitting since I was 15 and have looked after children of all ages (2 onwards). I can help families with general babysitting, supervising and entertaining children, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, bedtime routines, light tidying and keeping children active and engaged. I am also able to follow each family's individual routines and instructions. For the past five years, I have volunteered as a beach lifeguard, and have maintained CPR, health, safety and first aid training. Giving me experience in remaining calm in stressful situations and the ability to assess and identify risks and take responsibility of others safety. I have also spent 5 years helping children aged 6–14 through my surf lifesaving club’s Nippers program, assisting with water and beach safety and activities each Sunday. This has given me lots of experience communicating with kids, engaging and encouraging them and making sure they feel safe and supported. I hope my childcare experience, lifesaving background and first aid training can give parents confidence that their children are in safe and responsible hands.
