Meet Amelia: A babysitter in Lilydale, VIC

Hello, my name is Amelia! I am currently in my fourth year of studying the Bachelor Of Early Childhood And Primary Education! This enables me to teach children aged 6 months to 12 years. I obtain both a working with children and police checks. Recently, I completed my first aid certificate (HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting) with Life Saving First Aid. This certification covered first aid and CPR, including anaphylaxis management for infants, children, and adults.

Additionally, I have practical experience in caring for young children, minding my nephew since he was 6 months old. This includes taking care of his needs such as changing nappies, feeding bottles, lots of play time and putting him to sleep.

For transportation, I have a car seat suitable for children aged 0-4 years.

Over the past 2 years I have completed teaching placements in both a 3-year-old kinder setting, primary school setting and a long daycare centre further enriching my experience in early childhood and primary education.
