Meet Geordie: A nanny and babysitter in Clayfield, QLD

I’ve been working with kids for over 10 years now, starting with babysitting when I was 14. Since then, I’ve spent a year as an au pair in Amsterdam (2021) and even ran my own babysitting and tutoring business supporting primary school children (2022-2024).

I moved to Brisbane from South Africa in December 2024 and am currently working as a casual educator at an OSHC in Clayfield. I’m also in my final term of a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Psychology and Counselling, with the goal of becoming a primary school teacher.

I genuinely love working with children and creating a space where they feel safe, supported, and able to be themselves. I’m reliable, warm, and confident caring for different ages and personalities, and I really value building trust with both kids and parents.
