Meet Kaylah: A nanny and babysitter in Parkdale, VIC

Hi My name is Kaylah, and I am 19 years old. I have 4 years of experience babysitting for 9+ families, and 2 years of experience regularly nannying. I absolutely love working with kids and am studying to become a teacher. Being in my second year of studying teaching has reinforced how important it is for children to feel safe, supported and encouraged in their early years. I aim to create an environment where children feel confident to be themselves, explore their interests, and know they always have someone in their corner.

I currently regularly nanny during the day for long hours as well as frequently during the night on weekends. Moreover, I work at Bounce (a trampoline park), where I run kids' birthday parties and also work in before and after-school care. I completed my work experience at Parkdale Preschool in 2022, which I absolutely loved. Over the past 4 years, I have looked after kids aged from 1-10 and am first aid and CPR trained and also have training in asthma and anaphylaxis. I have experience in nap time/ bedtime routines, preparing meals as well as drop off and pick up to kinder, school and extra curricular activities.
