Meet Sophie: A nanny and babysitter in Coolum Beach, QLD

Since completing school in 2020, I have pursued a range of roles working closely with children and families. I worked as a teacher assistant at a boarding school in England for a year, supporting children aged 5–16 with their learning, daily routines, emotional support, and activities. This role helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, and the ability to build supportive and trusting relationships with children of different ages and needs.

While living in England, I also worked as a babysitter for 6 months, regularly caring for a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old. This involved helping with meals, playtime, routines, and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the children.

I also have experience in support work, providing one-on-one care for participants with autism and epilepsy, which strengthened my calm and caring approach to caregiving. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, creating positive environments, and supporting their confidence, creativity, and wellbeing. I bring a reliable, patient, and warm energy into the roles I take on and love building meaningful connections with families and children.
