Meet Emerson: A nanny and babysitter in Hampton, VIC

Hello! My name is Emerson. I am 19 and graduated from St Leonard's College in 2023.

This year, I have commenced study at Monash, doing a Primary and Secondary Education bachelors degree, specialising in health humanities.

Throughout high school, I was working a casual job at an ice cream shop called Wills Batch in Bentleigh which provided me with many valuable skills in which I have applied to past babysitting jobs including patience, organisation, communication skills and responsibility.

Additionally, I began babysitting when I was 15, initially just my young cousins which gave me experience with a range of age groups from 5-10 as well as gaining new jobs recently with children of various ages including 0-1, 2, 5, 7, and 8.

Further, I am comfortable in the kitchen and am able to cook without following recipes. I am also efficient in household cleaning, as well as general washing and am comfortable with pets!

Since I can remember, I have always been passionate about childcare and have wanted to become a teacher since I was a kid myself and would love to help out families needing support :)
