Meet karen: A nanny and babysitter in Elsternwick, VIC

My name is Karen. I have studied childcare, social work and disability studies.

I have been caring for children for over 30 years some of the roles i have worked in are in home care as a nanny and babysitting work, childcare centres children camps, educational programs and in overseas children’s homes.

I have also worked children with special needs and children with complex health issues. I have also worked with twins and multi age groups at one time.

I love working with children because i find it very rewarding watching them move throughout each stage of their development.

I have a warm,friendly and outgoing personality who enjoys spending time with children and support families in any way I can.

I got a big heart and love being part of the family unit. I also have a strong commitment towards work ethics and responsibility being honest and loyal to those I working with.

I have a gentle and caring nature who believe in compassion and being the best support I can for each family I work with.

I have a strong interest in child development and believe in forcuing on children's strengths and abilities in order to help them become the best that they can be I love to travel and have worked with children in children's homes in Kenya and in other parts of lm world .

i strongly believe to be a good carer you must love and care for the children in my care and extend that care to other members of the family including pets. I love dogs they have so much love to give.

I have a strong focus on respect of parents and have a good understanding on different parenting styles. I always intrestred in learning a new skill to inprove the quiity of life for another human.

I have a good understanding on different cultures The best way to get to know me is to meet me. My passion is with children they are the most rewarding people in the world to work with. They truly make me shine. I have found longer I work with children and their families the more I find it rewarding. I take great pride and feel very honored to be a part of their lives and have the honor of creating happy memories for children to reflect on as they grow older to pass on to their own families

My flexabilty for days and times are veey open as im not looking to fullntime but add vaule to the lives of others which adds quiilty to my my life .
