Looking for: Full-time
I am a 19 year old recent graduate of Catholic Ladies' College and am passionate about providing children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.I have hands-on experience caring for young children, including babysitting multiple 1 year olds and over the years looking after younger cousins. In this role, I have been responsible for feeding, nappy changing, settling children for naps and bedtime, engaging them in age appropriate activities, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. I have also assisted with childcare pickups and drop offs . I hold a current Victorian P2 Driver's Licence, a Working With Children Check. Since I was young, I’ve always had a genuine passion for caring for children. At every family gathering or event, I naturally gravitated toward spending time with the babies and young children, often being the one happily holding, playing with, or entertaining them. As a child, I loved playing with baby dolls, and as I got older, I continued to find joy in nurturing role-play through realistic reborn dolls, which I would take with me on outings such as shopping trips, car rides, holidays, and visits to friends. This reflects a long-standing interest in caregiving and creating a sense of comfort and care for children.I have always looked forward to the day I can have children of my own, and this has strengthened my respect and appreciation for how deeply loved every child is by their family. I bring this same level of care, patience, and attentiveness into my interactions with children, treating them with warmth and professionalism while recognising how important and precious they are to their families.
