Meet Ava-Jean: A nanny and babysitter in Elwood, VIC

Hi! I’m Ava, and I have over 7 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns through to older kids. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported.

Along with my nannying and babysitting experience, I’ve also worked with the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA), where I helped run a playgroup for children aged 0–6 years. This role strengthened my skills in planning engaging activities, supporting children’s development, and building positive relationships with both children and their families.

I’m caring, patient, reliable, and love getting involved in creative play, outdoor activities, reading, and helping with daily routines. I understand the importance of tailoring my care to each child’s individual needs and personality, and I always strive to make children feel happy, comfortable, and cared for.
