Meet Finlay: A nanny and babysitter in Eltham North, VIC

Hello! My name is Finlay 😊

I’m a kind, joyful and responsible caregiver looking to make an intentional shift in my work life by supporting families and the local community in a more personal way.

Over the past several years, I’ve worked within a gymnastics company where I began managing reception and supporting the wellbeing and safety of children ranging from 6 months to 17 years old. I later progressed into the executive team, leading customer care and success while managing a team of 15+ staff members.

Before this, I worked as a nanny for a family with three children under 12, helping with the morning routine from 6am onwards — breakfast, getting organised for school, and bringing calm to the chaos of busy mornings!

Outside of work, I’m a very proud Auntie to two little ones overseas and the chosen “Auntie Fin” to three more wonderful tiny humans aged 11 months to 3 years old. I regularly spend time with them through play, babysitting, outings, and lots of story time.

A few things I love:

• reading

• music and dancing around the kitchen

• getting outdoors for walks, weekend adventures and markets

• trying new recipes

• supporting my favourite sports teams

• crafts (still improving!)

• animals– especially my 10-year-old golden retriever and rescue cat, who absolutely run the house

I’ve also completed my Diploma of Health Science, giving me a strong understanding of nutrition, wellbeing, and development across all life stages.
