Hi all, just wanting to introduce myself, my name is Jacinta and I am a Registered Nurse/Child Health Nurse since 2013, with a Bachelor of Nursing, and Post-Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health. I have worked across Australia in paediatric and neonatal settings such as Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospital, North West Private Early Parenting Centre, Royal Hobart, Perth Childrens and several community based services. Prior to becoming a Nurse, I worked as a Nanny for many years, and I now have the priviledge to combine my skills and provide much needed support for parents in the community as a Night Nanny (sometimes known as a Maternity Nanny - although I can support you at any stage).

In this role, I come to your home at negotiated shift times, usually evenings and overnights, and provide care for your baby or toddler, including sleep, feeding, settling and comforts, allowing you to rest undisturbed (or bring baby to you to breastfeed). I also support parents with basic laundry, cleaning, dishes, sterilisation and general tasks primarily associated with baby, quietly while the household sleeps. You can book simply a few hours or an entire overnight stay, and it is no more expensive than babysitting.

With my professional background, not only am I able to offer caring for infants, I can also provide advice and support regarding breastfeeding, expressing, formula, equipment, sleep and settling, crying and colic, allergies, constipation and more. I also am a mother myself, and fully understand the need for safe and kind support in your own home.
