Meet Amy: A nanny and babysitter in North Bondi, NSW

Hi! My name is Amy, I’m 26 and here in Sydney on a working holiday visa.

I have extensive babysitting experience gained from helping care for a large extended family of younger cousins throughout my teenage years. As the eldest of three, I was often trusted to look after multiple children at once - managing mealtimes, routines, and activities, and providing calm, reliable supervision at all times.

This hands-on experience is complemented by my academic background: I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a postgraduate qualification in Forensic Psychology. Through my studies, I developed a strong interest in early childhood development, and in particular, the importance of healthy and stable caregiver relationships in shaping a child's emotional security and long-term wellbeing. This gives me a deeper understanding of children's needs at different developmental stages, and informs the attentive, responsive approach I bring to caring for them
