Meet Jessie: A nanny and babysitter in Elwood, VIC

Hello lovely parents! I'm a skilled, compassionate and energetic nanny and youth worker looking for casual or permanent babysitting or nannying roles. What makes me happiest is caring for young people and I am knowledgeable in the areas of child and youth development. I understand the impact the last few years has had on children and young people and I want to try and make a difference and help bring them back into feeling comfortable to be social and engage in their community. My motto is, be the person you needed when you were younger!

I’d love to connect with a family and support you and your children for an extended time. I am more than happy to partake in games, homework and fun outings with your children. I enjoy being creative and love arts, crafts and play. I am warm, intuitive and confident in understanding the needs of individual children, including supporting those with disabilities or who are neurodivergent. I live bayside and have my own car. I have a great level of experience with young children from previous babysitting jobs which I have always really enjoyed.

I am also a qualified Youth Worker and have worked in the sector running youth community programs, wellbeing workshops and camps, for almost 10 years. I have my current first aid level 2 certificate including CPR and anaphylaxis, working with children check and youth mental health first aid certificates. Ensuring the individual needs of your children are met would always be my upmost priority. I'm very fun loving and a great friend to any child or young person.

Supporting youth and children is my greatest passion and a life long path for me. Light house help is also totally fine and I Iove cooking so happy to help out there too!
