Addison is an 18-year-old support worker currently completing her Certificate III in Disability and Individual Support, with only her placement hours remaining. She is passionate about person-centred care and creating safe, engaging environments where individuals feel valued, heard, and empowered.
Having completed her Year 11 and 12 placements in a childcare setting, Addison developed a strong foundation in child-led play, inclusive support, and fostering independence. These experiences inspired her to continue her studies in disability and individual support, where she is building her skills in providing compassionate, individualised care.
Addison brings a gentle, kind and empathetic nature to her work. She describes herself as fun and supportive, knowing when to be silly and playful and when to be calm and focused. Living with ADHD, which she proudly sees as her superpower, she brings creativity, energy and outside-the-box thinking to everything she does.
Outside of support work, Addison loves music, motorbike riding, camping, fishing, wakeboarding and surfing behind the boat. She enjoys trying new things, spending time outdoors, crafting, and connecting with animals of all kinds. In fact, she’s not even afraid of spiders!
Addison is dedicated to making a positive difference and supporting people to live confidently, independently and joyfully.
