Meet Rina: A nanny in Joondalup, WA

Hello families!

My name is Rina, and I am from Japan. I am currently working as an au pair in Australia and looking for nanny/babysitting opportunities around Joondalup and nearby areas.

I hold a Working With Children Check (WWCC), and I am scheduled to complete HLTAID012 Childcare First Aid on May 19th, 2026. I also hold an Australian driver’s licence and currently drive children as part of my au pair duties.

I have been caring for three children with my current host family for almost one year. My responsibilities include supervising children, helping with daily routines, meal preparation, household support, and creating a safe and positive environment for the children.

Before coming to Australia, I worked as a childcare assistant in Japan for three years. I also hold a Japanese Childminder qualification and a Japanese Cook’s Licence.

I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and always aim to provide warm, safe, and responsible care. I am friendly, patient, reliable, and adaptable, and I value building positive relationships with both children and parents.

In addition to childcare, I am experienced in household cleaning, laundry, organising, and meal preparation through my current au pair role. I am happy to assist with school pick-ups/drop-offs, light household duties, and cooking if needed.

I am planning to move to Joondalup around June and will be available to start once my current host family finds a replacement au pair.
