Meet Isabella: A babysitter in East Melbourne, VIC

Hi, I'm Isabella! I'm a 20-year-old university student studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. Originally from Swan Hill, a small town on the Murray River, I moved to Melbourne in 2023 and have absolutely loved everything the city has to offer. After two wonderful years at St Mary’s College, I recently moved into a sharehouse with friends.

I come from a big family with two younger brothers and cousins as young as 3 months old. Growing up around young cousins, I was often trusted to look after them on my own, handling everything from nappy changes and feeding to managing nap times. Thanks to my nannying experience over the past couple of years, I’m also very comfortable caring for school-aged children.

Since 2023, I’ve been nannying for two wonderful boys, aged 6 and 11. My role includes school pick-ups, keeping them entertained with fun activities, cooking dinner, and getting them ready for bed. I also help with homework and take care of light household tasks like unpacking the dishwasher, tidying the kitchen and kids' rooms, and folding laundry. I love spending quality time with them, whether it’s playing at the park or cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Watching them grow has been such a rewarding experience!

Beyond nannying, I’ve babysat for family and locals back in Swan Hill. I’m comfortable caring for infants and toddlers, navigating nap times and nappy changes with ease. I’ve also tutored kids (up to age 14) in maths, English, and science, and I love seeing them gain confidence as they learn new concepts.
