Meet Sarah: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Mcmahons Point, NSW

Hi i’m Sarah, a Sydney-based nanny with 3 years of experience caring for children from toddlers through preteens, and I have my WWCC, CPR and First Aid certification. I’m originally from Kenya, I have traveled and worked with mostly international families but also have experience here.

I believe childcare is about more than supervision, it’s about genuine enrichment. With a background in the arts and creative industries, I love bringing imaginative, hands-on activities into a child’s day: storytelling, art projects, music, and games that spark curiosity rather than just filling time. I take safety and nutrition seriously, and I’m attentive to each child’s individual needs, routines, and pace.

I’m warm, patient, and reliable, and I build genuine rapport with the kids in my care — as well as clear, honest communication with parents. I also speak English and Swahili, with intermediate Japanese, which I love sharing with children who are curious about language and culture.
