Meet Maria: A nanny and babysitter in Prahran, VIC

Moving to Prahran in a few weeks, movement, sewing, craft background.

I cook healthy hearty meals, make home made ice cream & bake. Happy to help around the house.

My focus is health, movement (yoga, dance, nervous system regulation), reading & art (sewing, crochet, drawing etc). I have experience as a sewing teacher. At the moment I sew heirloom mohair teddy bears & can child-proof this process if you have a creative kid who is keen to learn new tactile skills. In school I competed in the AMEB competitions for speech & drama and would have a lot of fun revisiting that with animated reading and play.

I am a big believer in the power of imagination and would love to help foster this in your family.

My biggest offering is my ability to be present.

I was raised in a professional household, attended a grammar school & am partway through a uni degree.

Cons:

- Don’t drive (but I live with a willing driver who will help transport me to YOU if need be)
