Meet Evelyn: A nanny and babysitter in O'Connor, ACT

Hi, I’m Evelyn! I’m a compassionate, reliable, and responsible university student currently studying a Bachelor of Human Nutrition at the University of Canberra, where I consistently achieve High Distinction results. I have a strong passion for working with children and supporting families in a caring, safe, and positive environment.

I have experience working with children from 4-9 in babysitting positions. This experience has given me confidence in both engaging with children as well assistance with learning and tasks around the house. I also have experience working with children aged 9 months to 6 years through play-based learning and fitness classes, where I developed strong communication, patience, and engagement skills. I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel comfortable and supported.

Alongside childcare, I’m happy to assist with school and extracurricular pick-ups and drop-offs, light housekeeping, and cooking if required. I hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate, a valid Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Check, and a full driver’s licence.
