Meet Willow: A nanny and babysitter in Belgrave South, VIC

Hi Families! 🩷

My name is Willow, I’m an 19 year-old nanny based in Belgrave South and I’m currently looking to take on a beautiful new family for either part-time, casual or ongoing care throughout the week 🌸

I’ve been nannying and babysitting for over 2 years now and have experience with children ranging from newborns right through to around 8 years old. Over the past year I’ve been caring for a family with three children aged 4, 5 and 7, and before that I cared for two little boys from the time one was only a newborn 🥹 Being able to grow with families and become someone their children feel safe, excited and comfortable around is honestly the most rewarding thing ever to me.

I know I’m young, but I truly think that’s one of the reasons kids connect with me so naturally 🤍 I bring a really fun, energetic and comforting “big sister” kind of presence into a home while still being responsible, calm and nurturing when needed. I love getting involved in all the little things kids enjoy — whether that’s dancing in the kitchen, building cubby houses, playground adventures, baking, crafts, movie nights or just sitting on the floor playing for hours 🫶🏼

I also really understand that children have huge emotions in tiny little bodies. I’ve sat through the toddler meltdowns over the wrong coloured cup, the overtired tears, the big feelings after school and the moments where they simply just need patience, comfort and someone safe beside them. I never believe in making children feel silly for their emotions and always try to approach situations with calmness, understanding and reassurance 🌿

I’m very confident with all day-to-day routines including school pick-ups/drop-offs, bedtime routines, baths, dinner prep, bottles, nappy changes, homework help and keeping little ones entertained in ways that are fun but still supportive for their development ✨

I’m also very reliable, organised and happy to help wherever I can around the house to make life easier for parents — whether that’s tidying up after the kids, preparing meals, folding washing or helping keep routines running smoothly 🤍

I have my own reliable car (brand new MG SUV), am confident transporting children and am happy to travel for the right family. I can also provide references from previous families upon request 🥰
