Meet Kumi: A nanny and babysitter in Griffith, ACT

Nice to meet you! My name is Kumi, and I am originally from Japan. I have lived in Australia for the past 12 years as PR. I have just moved to Canberra from Cairns, QLD.

Through my work as a diploma-qualified educator in Childcare center, I have gained valuable hands-on experience supporting children. I worked primarily in the Kindy room, but I have also worked across rooms from nursery to Kindy, which strengthened my ability to adapt to different age groups and care settings.

And I used to look after my stepson for 7 years since he was 7. We got along very well after spending time together.

I am committed to children’s wellbeing and safety, and I take a proactive approach to creating engaging experiences that balance learning, physical activity, care, kindness, and support.

I take pride in being reliable and honest, and in maintaining a high standard of accountability in my work with children.

I have both current Police check and WWVP.
