Looking for: Part-time, Casual Babysitting
My name is Maia and I am an 19 year old girl who recently graduated from PLC Sydney, Croydon. This year, I am studying a double degree in a Bachelor of Sports management and Health Science at UTS and also nanny on a part-time basis. I also do elite gymnastics compete for Australia. After graduating in 2022, I have nannied for 4 amzaing families and have fell in love with each job. I coach and train at PLC aswell forcing me to work with kids constantly - I enjoy this immensely and have a passion for working with children and families. I have also completed my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award which allowed me to volunteer at a After-care centre in Summer Hill. This taught me the basic skills of cooking, cleaning, and nurturing children while also familiarising myself of individual children's interests and how to embrace them and connect with them. While also participating in these jobs and awards, I also have 3 years of experience, babysitting for friends and family between the ages of 1-13. This has developed my skills in scheduling and managing multiple activities, preparing healthy meals and snacks for kids, assist with homework and projects, organise and facilitate creative activities and games for the children, following bedtime routines and also carrying safety procedures around First Aid and CPR. I also have my drivers licence and a car allowing me to travel to and from places quickly and the opportunity to use this mode of transport for other activities with kids.
