Meet Chenaya: A nanny and babysitter in Berwick, VIC

Hi! My name is Chenaya, and I’m a 21-year-old recent university graduate based in Berwick. Outside of uni and work, I love sports and spending time with my three-year-old dog, Freddie!

I have almost four years of experience working with children, including children as young as 2, from my time as a swimming teacher. Through this experience, I’ve learned how to create a fun, supportive and safe environment while being patient and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I hold a valid Working with Children Check and keep my CPR and First Aid certifications up to date annually. I’m also really flexible with travel, having my own car, and am willing to do school pick - up and drop - offs, driving kids to extra - curriculars, and more!

I also graduated high school with a 95+ ATAR and have previous tutoring experience, so I’m more than comfortable helping with homework and supporting children with their learning.

I also have experience working in customer-facing roles across administration and retail, which has helped me become friendly, approachable, reliable and highly organised.

Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with children and being part of their growth and development. I aim to make sure every child in my care feels safe, happy, comfortable and understood, while also creating a fun and positive environment for them.
