Meet Letizia: A nanny and babysitter in Fawkner, VIC

Hi, I am new to this industry although experienced in the field. I myself, had always been a working mother, working as a bookkeeper, balancing work and family life for over 13 years, and I am great at it! Not only caring for my daughter, I was also caring for my my mum with Alzheimers. I ceased work in an "office" environment to become fulltime carer giver to my mum until her death in 2022. Taking on a fresh approach, I now dedicate my free time as a Volunteer and run programmes at a local community centre. I hold youth nights, and run kids school holiday programs. My focus and passion is to help kids engage socially, encourage tech free play, as well as giving parents some free time. I have always been big on early learning, teaching my daughter, and children of family members prepare for school. I am the "aunty" babysitter for children of friends and family. My daughter is in her teens now, and I have more time on my hands, and I would love to share my skills, and be that "aunty" to your child. I am also a Victorian foster carer. I have successfully cared for a 4 year old non verbal child, and nurtured a prem newborn until she was ready to be handed back to the family.

I am a very engaging person, with a focus on keeping kids busy and emphasis on learning through play. Whether it be playing board games, creating with art/craft activities, playing ball games, playing at the park, or reading. (Please forgive me if I remove their ipad or gadget:) ). I thrive on seeing kids thrive!
