Meet Georgie: A nanny and babysitter in Marrickville, NSW

I’m Georgie. I’m 27 and currently shifting my career path, and in the mean time want to reconnect with my passion for working with children. I am available most days and nights—including weekends—and can step in on short notice, whether for a one-off job or a long-term role.

I love channeling my creative energy—whether through DIY projects, singing, photography, sketching, crafts - into a fun, engaging environment for kids. Reflecting on Einstein’s famous insight, ‘Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree,’ I believe every child has unique strengths that deserve celebration. I strive to create a nurturing space where creative play, thoughtful conversation, and hands-on activities empower each child to express themselves. Whether we’re building imaginative forts, embarking on art projects, or exploring the outdoors, my goal is to help kids build confidence and embrace their individuality in a supportive and fun environment, while always respecting and faithfully following your family culture and values, as well as your personal parenting philosophies.
