I have worked in Family Day Care , In Home Child Care and as a Private Nanny for the past 22 years. Over this time I have worked with many different families for many different reasons eg children with special needs, parents with special needs, multiple births, FIFO families & shift workers. I have also worked with newborns up to teenagers and am comfortable with multiple children. I try to be as flexible as possible with work times bearing in mind I usually work for more than one family. I have great pleasure in watching children grow and develop as well as a sense of pride in the part that I play, small or large, in creating some very happy childhood memories and experiences. I like to offer children a range of activities to help promote development across all areas and to keep them entertained without the use of electronic devices eg music, craft, reading, games, puzzles, role play, imaginative play, cooking, outdoor experiences & excursions. I am a non-smoker and am comfortable with pets. I have a 20 year old son and 17 year old daughter of my own. Please get in touch if you think I might be a good fit for your family. I am happy to work short term, long term or on an ad-hoc basis.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I am looking for a babysitting job as it is difficult to arrange work hours with my studies. I have previous babysitting experience in Argentina, where I worked as a babysitter while studying. I recently moved to Rockingham after living for over two years in remote areas. During that time, I lived with a family of four kids. Although I was not their babysitter, I spent a lot of time with them. We often attended netball and footy training and games together. I can provide their mother’s phone number as a reference if needed. I am a responsible person—calm and patient with children. Kids usually enjoy spending time with me as I am a foreigner and speak differently, which they find interesting. I am also available for occasional weekend babysitting if needed.

Hello! My name is Fuuki, Nice to meet you! I have studied Child care for a year in Japan. I have been working in Australia for over 10 years as a long term (1-7 year) nanny, looking after children aged between 3 months -12 years old. Recently, I finished with a family (Feb 2023 - Feb 2025) and have a written reference from them and two more. I have WWCC, First Aid and Police check. I have worked as a nanny for approximately 12 years. In Canada, I was a 'Live-in' nanny for 2 years looking after 9 month old twin boys. Also, twice a week during this time, I volunteered as a baby-sitter in a school for new mothers, looking after new born babies. In Australia, I have worked for a variety of Australian families over the last 10 years. I worked for a family with a 9 month old and 5 year old girls for 5 years, a family with a 3 month girl for 9 months, and a family with a 1 year old girl and two 5 and 7 year old boys for 4 years. Longest term job : They had an 8 year old girl, a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl, I started when an 8 year old girl was a 9 month baby for 7 years. I still keep in touch with them :) Then recently, I finished (end of Feb 2025) a family with a 3.5 year old girl and 6.5 year old girl, I started when a 3.5 year old girl was a 18 month baby for 2 years. Originally, I am from Japan and while in Japan, I had a career in civil engineering for 15 years. I grew up in the Japanese countryside with a huge family which included my 25 cousins, and I started looking after infants and young children by the age of 8. I’ve had extensive experience raising and looking after children of all ages. I take pride in my sense of duty and responsibility; I'm an active person who loves to be outside so I normally stay in park 1-2 hours with children; I'm easy-going, warm-heart, cheerful, friendly and an all-around honest type of person and, above all else, you can rest assured that your children are in good and capable hands when I am with them. All the Australian families that I have worked with would be happy to speak with you directly; I can also provide you with three written references upon request. Thank you for reading my profile, I look forward to the opportunity of working together with you and your family! P.S. I'm looking for a regular position that offers full days (min 7h, between 7am-6pm), not split shifts please. Expected Pay $30-38 p/h. (depending on other duties). * Below is an extract of a reference from my long term employers. "Fuuki has shown herself to be extremely reliable, punctual, flexible, caring and responsible. "Fuuki Potter has been employed to look after my 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy) from birth to 8 years old. Fuuki first started with our family when I had my first daughter and returned to work when she was 9 months. Fuuki spent time with children and completed a range of activities from breakfast time (including baby bottles) to play time. My children enjoyed the days they spent with Fuuki and always waited at the door for her to come. The kids had lots of fun with everything they did with Fuuki. I can recommend Fuuki to a new family and welcome any calls, especially families with young children. Fuuki is very punctual, trust worthy and a very honest person."... Continue.

Hi, I am the Nanny you need! I Have a Cert III in Childrens Services, specialising in cognitive, physical, social and emotional development (0-12) and am a qualified Education Assistant (K-10), specialising in Learning Support, specifically literacy and numeracy. In other words helping kids to fulfill their potential in a fun and nurturing way! I believe that the best way for children to learn is through play and discovery. Even learning times tables can be fun! I worked with triplets (2 boys, 1 girl) from aged 6 months until they began full time kindergarten. With two extremely busy expat working parents, I was responsible for shopping, cooking, washing and cleaning of general areas. I was also responsible for the social, emotional and educational needs of the children. I took them to swimming lessons, gymnastics, the park and any medical or general appointments as necessary. When they began kindy I tutored them in literacy 1 afternoon per week until their family relocated tp Brazil. They have since relocated to Canada and I maintain regular contact with them. For the last 8 years, I have been with a family with three daughters, twins who are now 8.5 and their sister who is just under two years older than them. My role in this household began as much the same as with the triplets, but now that all girls are in full time school my role has morphed a bit. I am now also responsible for, pickups, after school activities, homework/reading, preparation of all lunches and snacks for the next day, as well as prep and serving of dinner and ensuring baths/showers and teeth are done. I have also been with another family for 3.5 years. The twins in that family are 5.5 years old. They are now starting full time school which will leave me with some day time availability. From Term 1 2025 I will be available week days 9.30am - 2.00pm, with scope for full days every 2nd Tues and Wed. School holidays by negotiation. My ideal family would have 1-3 children (newborn to 4) and be looking for a long term professional Nanny.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m Donna — a warm, gentle, and down-to-earth person who truly loves helping children of all ages feel safe, accepted, and supported just as they are. As a mum of three (one of whom is autistic and has ADHD), I understand that every child is unique, with their own way of seeing and moving through the world. I bring both life experience and a lot of heart to what I do, and I know how important it is to have someone in your child’s life who genuinely cares. Whether I’m helping with daily routines, offering calm emotional support, or simply being a kind, steady presence, I always work at a pace that suits the child. I take the time to build real connections and love discovering what brings each child joy — whether that’s a quiet moment, a favourite activity, or sharing a laugh together. I’ve supported children in residential care and one-on-one through disability support, always with a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach. I do my best to create spaces where kids feel safe, respected, and free to be themselves — and where parents and carers feel supported too. I’m currently studying Social Work at UWA and hold a First Aid Certificate and NDIS Screening Card. Outside of my work, I enjoy sewing and dressmaking, volunteering in the community, and spending time with my partner and our much-loved 18-year-old Siamese cat, Raphael. I bring warmth, patience, and genuine care to everything I do — and I feel honoured to be part of a child’s journey, even in small ways.
