I have extensive experience with Autism. I raised a son with high-functioning Autism with ADD and more. Today he is an independent 18 year old. When he was diagnosed we were living in the Northern Territory. There were no services or help in those days so I flew out to conferences and more to upskill myself and then give to the community. I started the first Autism centred business there, JackAutastic, with the motto of ‘even super heroes have special needs’. I’m studying at present for my Bachelor of Community Services. You will find me to be extremely caring and an advocate for you or your child/children. I am extremely passionate about empowering children and teens to reach their life goals and always, I mean always, know that they are accepted. I regularly engage in my community assisting people and enjoy listening to their stories. My aim is bring smiles to the faces of young and old. I have a passion to assist children, teenagers and adults with Autism and I have sat on the board for Autism NT. I have worked as a Residential Youth Care Worker providing out of home care, companionship, cooking, creative development skills. I am passionate about disability and mental health assistance. I have had training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
