Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Sammi 👋 I am a passionate and super creative early years educator, about to complete my CERT III in Early Education and Care. At 30 years old and with several nieces and nephews of my own, I pivoted from a long career in hospitality to follow my deep passion for nurturing young minds and helping children grow into confident and capable individuals. I volunteer two days a week for the Kings Park Education “Bush Kindy” and “Bush Bubs” programs, which I really enjoy. It is important for me to be outdoors, and it brings me great joy to encourage children to play and explore their natural world aswell. My friends and family have fondly called me “the kid whisperer” in the past - I seem to have a knack for getting on a child’s level. I value each child’s voice and encourage their creativity with enthusiasm. I believe in attentively listening to and respecting children. I place a strong value on safety, supervision and a healthy balance between rest and play. I do not believe young children need much (if any) screen time, you can be assured I will always be present and engaging with your little ones. I am confident with caring for children as young as 10 months up to 6 years - however, I am currently only available during daytime hours (between 8am-2pm) during the week. These hours are flexible, if you only need help for some of those hours, that is perfectly fine! You can choose when suits you between those hours. Unfortunately, I am not available on weekends at this time. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little. Please feel free to reach out if you think I might be a good fit for you and your family. I look forward to hearing from you. 😊

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I have worked in education over the past seven years, starting with five years in childcare, where I worked with children from six weeks to six years old. During this time, I gained a deep understanding of early childhood development and built strong foundations in creating nurturing, structured environments for young learners. In the past two years, I have shifted my focus to working within the private school system as a Special Needs Education Assistant. In this role, I specialized in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and (ADHD). My expertise in these areas has enabled me to provide tailored support to students, ensuring they receive the necessary accommodations and strategies to thrive academically and socially. I am currently looking for some extra work outside of school hours from 4pm during the weekdays and am able to do weekends and holidays.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I’m Dionne :) I’ve been working with children of all ages for the past 14 years as both a nanny and an Early Childhood Educator. My background in early childhood education, combined with years of hands-on experience, has given me a strong understanding of child development and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive. I completed most of a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (specialising in Diversity) through Edith Cowan University and now hold an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children and families from a wide range of backgrounds, and I genuinely value building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents. I believe every child is unique and deserves to feel seen, understood and encouraged to be themselves. I love following children’s interests, supporting their independence and confidence, and creating meaningful learning experiences through play, creativity and everyday life. Whether we’re exploring outdoors, reading stories, creating art, baking together or simply sharing conversations, my goal is always to help children feel safe, capable and happy. One of my strengths is my calm and patient nature. I have a deep understanding of children’s behaviour and recognise that behaviour is a form of communication. I respond with empathy, consistency and clear boundaries, helping children work through challenges while supporting their emotional development. Alongside nannying, I also work as a holistic therapist, and I find the two roles complement one another beautifully. Both require compassion, presence, excellent communication and the ability to build genuine, trusting relationships—qualities I naturally bring into the families I work with. I understand what a privilege it is to care for someone else’s children and never take that responsibility lightly. My priority is always to provide a safe, loving and dependable environment where children can flourish while giving parents complete peace of mind. I hold a current: • Working With Children Check • National Police Clearance • First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications • Supervisor Certificate • Food Safety Certificate I’d love the opportunity to connect with your family and see whether we’d be a great fit. I look forward to hearing from you.
