I am a mature, organised, vibrant and warm person. I have 12 years experience as a full time nanny. My family is a foster family so I have had interaction and one on one time caring and watching my parents care for newborns. I have completed 2.5 years of my education in primary teaching degree at university, I am however, deferred as I adore being a nanny more in this time of my life. I hold love, warmth and routine to a high level when I work as a nanny as I think the children thrive with these values. I love taking them to outside activities with other nannies and their children of the similar ages, to educational activities (usually at the library) and any activities they may already attend. I have fun, educational games for appropriate ages I play with the children or they have solo play with the activities. I am available as a night nanny at a different rate.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a mature career nanny with many years experience caring for children of all ages. I live in Scarborough with my teenage son and a naughty cavoodle! I enjoy a coastal lifestyle, I’m well balanced, responsible, reliable, punctual, engaging and nurturing with children. I'm happy to pick children up and drop to school/daycare/activities. I like to get out and about with them swimming, bike riding, treasure hunts, indoor/outdoor playgrounds or I’m just as happy in their home doing art and craft, reading books or whatever they are drawn to. I like to maintain their routines and encourage their independence to empty school bags and pack away. If time permits I don’t mind hanging a load of washing out or bringing in a basket and folding it, emptying the dishwasher, heating up food. I treat children as if they are my own. Im happy to come in for a few hours (minimum 3) on the days I do drop and pick for other families if you need someone for a few hours. I have a 7 seater car equipped with child restraints, a DVD player and a stroller. I hold a current WWC, National Police Clearance, First Aid, Whooping Cough Vaccination, Anaphylaxis knowledge and can provide quality parent references. I look forward to meeting your family :)

Edit: Available tomorrow, and next week. ~also Fri OR Sat evening and one week-day after 9am. Sometimes will need a minimum of hours depending on location and rate. - Possibly build up to one or two days a week. Prefer North of River depending on traffic/times /amount of hours. -obviously has to be worth the time and travel. 🌸🌸Car is older two door hatchback -so just for getting me there and back rather than driving children around (odd occasion may be ok). -20+yrs exp babysitting. - Exp as Relief staff in childcare. All rooms. ~ Experience with autism. - afterschool care for various families. ~ Experience working in disabilities, mostly intellectual disabilities (group homes) and one on one. - experience driving two girls to the park ect -- (family provided me car). - Cert III Childcare - Cert III Mental Health - babysitting mostly ages 9mths plus. - can swim (stage 9 done as child). References: can provide after meet-up (for ongoing positions with a fair amount of hours) (as with the nature of babysitting I can be picking up new families often) & wouldn't be fair to always be asking this of families I know; they are busy working families. :) - My First Aid + asthma anaphylaxis is expired (at this point). ~~~ Most of my babysitting has come from parents passing my number on. ~Anything else just ask. Thanks so much. :) Renee
