Professional Profile
I am a warm, reliable, and highly experienced nanny with a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth, development, and wellbeing. Originally from the UK, I relocated to Australia in 2011 with my husband and two daughters and have since built extensive experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns and toddlers through to school-aged children.
For almost the past three years, I have been working long-term with the same family, providing consistent, trusted care and building strong relationships based on reliability, communication, and mutual respect.
I pride myself on creating a safe, calm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to thrive. My approach focuses on promoting each child’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development through structured routines, educational play, creativity, and positive encouragement.
I am confident managing the day-to-day demands of busy households while remaining patient, organised, and adaptable. I enjoy planning meaningful activities tailored to children’s individual interests and developmental stages, including sensory play, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, reading, and school readiness support.
Alongside my childcare experience, I have mentored trainees and junior staff, helping guide and support their development within childcare settings. I value open and honest communication with families and always aim to provide dependable, high-quality care that gives parents complete peace of mind.
My goal is to ensure every child in my care feels safe, happy, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
