My name is Leah and I am 24 years old from the UK. I am a kind, caring and hardworking individual with a friendly, positive and approachable personality. I have a master's degree in education and am a qualified teacher from England, with a wide range of experience working with children of different ages and abilities. Through my teaching and childcare experience, I have developed a genuine passion for supporting children and helping them feel happy, confident and comfortable in their environment.
I'm patient, reliable and responsible, and I understand the importance of providing children with a safe, nurturing and engaging environment. I enjoy getting to know each child as an individual and adapting activities and routines to suit their interests, personality and needs. My experience as a teacher has given me excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and flexible in different situations.
I particularly enjoy planning fun and creative activities, encouraging children to learn through play and helping them develop their independence and confidence. I'm also happy to support with everyday routines, homework, meals and keeping children entertained and active.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, keeping active and spending time outdoors. I love being outside, exploring new places and trying new activities, and I would enjoy sharing these interests with the children I care for. I'm currently based in Melbourne and would love the opportunity to become a trusted and dependable member of a family, while providing children with a positive, caring and enjoyable experience.
I would also like to confirm that I hold a valid DBS check from England, which I am happy to provide upon request. I am also willing to obtain an Australian police check if required.
I look forward to hearing from you.
